Erik took this picture of Alex's birthday cake - May 2008. I thought it was pretty good photography for a 3 year old.

That is a lovely bench. Dan also injured himself while wood working. He was making our food storage shelves and went to cut a piece of wood quickly. He didn't put his goggles on and the blade hit the guard and metal flew into his eye. He is ok, but had to explain to everyone why he had a huge cut across his eye. And of course, everyone lectured him on wearing safety goggles.
Wanna see my fingers martha? I have a couple pictures from about 2 weeks after it happened. hehe.
