Ahhh, pretty river! We wanted to swim in it but the weather wasn’t cooperating. That’s okay though, because it was perfect weather for hiking around and enjoying the scenery.
And, the water is cold even when it’s hot out, trust me. (Alex)
Oh, come on. It wasn’t that cold – I put my feet in and Tyler was screaming to get in the water so I let him touch it and put his feet in too. He would have sat in it and splashed away if I had let him. (Dawn)
cool tree! it’s fluffy.
Tyler loved the rocks. He wanted to suck on them all. nom nom nom.
Alas, we didn’t get the chance to throw any of the children in the water. maybe next time, and yes, there will be a next time.
(Note: the contents of this post may or may not have been hijacked by the spouse. Dawn is having a conniption fit about what I’m typing here. Tough luck. I won’t give her the seat back either, thus HIJACKED!)
Note #2: I put Alex’s thoughts in italics…just so you know ;)
