Crazy Hair Day

Today was crazy hair day at Erik’s school. I love this first picture! Crazy hair or not, my baby #1 is just gorgeous! Ooooh, I could gobble him up he is so cute :)

Erik likes this “cool” picture. Even though it was cloudy today Erik of course always wants to wear his sunglasses to school. (A habit he developed last year during preschool.)

His hair was just so fun! And it held up quite well during a very windy day…I took these pictures when he got home from school…and the gel we used isn’t even very strong either.

Today was the first day that qualifies as “cold” this fall. It was windy too, and I bundled the kids up in the stroller to go pick Erik up from school. (By “bundled up” I mean putting long sleeves and long pants and socks on Adam and a blanket on Tyler - what a crazy notion? Long sleeves?) This must have been the first time Tyler ever felt air that was actually cold! It was rather exciting :)

Last week Tyler tried out the Bumbo seat for the first time!

The Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch!

We got to wander around in a big pumpkin field and pick out pumpkins :)

There were also fields of sunflowers, peppers, corn, and an apple orchard. It was neat for the kids to see how things grow on a farm.

 

 

 

Erik and Tyler were super good (except for a half an hour of crying on the way home…that would be Tyler). Adam was rather fussy a lot of the time… we discovered later he was getting a blister on his heal…but he still loved to get pumpkins! We had a fun and exhausting time and came home with pumpkins, kettle corn, peppers, fudge, and an apple pie! Yummy :)
