No theme to this post really…just a few pictures and things from the past week.

Adam put stickers on his face and said he was “all decorated”.

I did some Valentine's art projects with the kids on Sunday. The boys and I didn’t go to church because Erik was sick, but at least we got to do something Valentiney (yes I know I just made up that word). We hadn’t had time to do anything on Saturday because…

On Saturday Alex replaced our window next to the front door, and that was quite an adventure with many difficulties along the way. It had to be replaced in the first place because some neighbor kids accidently shot it with a BB gun a few weeks ago. Despite the troubles, Alex got the new window in before nightfall! Thank goodness! And only one fly came in the house all day…amazing.

And here is a picture of all of us that we took a week ago when Erik needed a picture of his family to take to class.

binkies, brothers, and rice cereal

2010-01-25 002

This is just funny ;) That’s my binky baby.

Adam’s around 28 lbs and Erik is about 38 lbs, but he can give a horsey ride to his brother!

Erik was painting a coloring page he got from school that already had paint on it – so he was just using water on the paintbrush. Adam wanted to get in on the action too – luckily he was perfectly content to paint his page with water also :)

Today (Sat Feb. 6th) Tyler tried rice cereal! This is his first official taste of food, except for licking an apple, and licking a tiny-tiny bit of yogurt off Alex’s spoon a few days ago.

He was definitely interested in the cereal and he ate several bites of it, and smeared some around on his tray.

I think he liked it ... oh dear, another child to feed real food to! Now I bet he’ll start begging every time he sees us eating…that’s what Adam used to do.

Tyler is also now in the stage where he loves to grab everything he can reach…as I type this he just grabbed the camera cord, and now some papers on the desk…oh dear, what are we going to do with you baby! Sometimes I almost forget that the baby will grow up and get in all the mischief the older kids get into, or got into at different ages and stages.
