Yesterday at preschool the kids could dress up as a character from a book. Erik was Horton the elephant! (as some of you may remember he was an elephant for halloween, so this worked out quite well.)

In the book Horton hears a voice on a tiny speck, he catches it on a flower and works hard to protect it. Erik had the idea to use a daisy from our yard as Horton's flower. Then I mixed glue and tiny bits of grass and twigs to make the "speck" on the flower.
Erik was pretty cute, if I do say so myself :)
